How Business Coach, Kelly Atwood, Uses MoonClerk To Power Payments For Her Digital Courses

Business Coach, Kelly Atwood, talks with us about how MoonClerk’s customers service has allowed her to power the payments for her training sessions and private client revenue.
Can you tell us a little about what you do?
I coach spiritual entrepreneurs to support them in shifting their relationship to money, so that they can serve their communities in a more powerful way. I notice the feelings of struggle and lack obstacles that many entrepreneurs face, especially in the first few years of their business, and my aim is to use my knowledge of Universal Law to provide them with tools to shift into a state of abundance, both internally in their minds, but also in their physical results.
What are your day-to-day responsibilities?
I honestly don’t work that hard! I spend two days a week coaching my private clients, and the rest of my time I spend creating content and engaging with my Facebook Group: Light Your Manifestation Fire. I have my assistant handle the nuts and bolts to keeping my business running smoothly.
How did you get started?
I began coaching in 2013 after my mother’s passing a year earlier sort of catapulted me into a search for meaning. I found it in coaching. I knew right away that this was my life’s work and built a successful six-figure business pretty quickly, with the help of a handful of coaches and mentors.
What have been some key factors in growing your business?
I believe that the growth of my business has been a direct reflection of my mindset, my confidence, and my willingness to take risks. I put everything I had into my business in the beginning, and although it was scary to have so much risk involved, it made it a non-negotiable for me. I also have experienced rapid phases of growth when I follow my intuition and what feels good to me, rather than what I see “everybody else” doing.
What do you use MoonClerk for?
I use Moonclerk to collect payments from my private clients but also for digital courses, and will be using it soon for the upcoming “Shop” page on my website where I will be selling trainings and meditations.
Before MoonClerk, did you use another payment system? If so, which one?
I used Square for the first two years of my business. I enjoyed Square during my time using it, but always felt like it was designed more for the person with physical products, rather than services. It didn’t feel as streamlined for me.
What made you decide to use MoonClerk?
A friend of mine, who is also a coach, suggested MoonClerk to me and I gave it a whirl. I teetered back and forth between Square and MoonClerk for a bit, and then got hooked on Moonclerk when I had a big launch – MoonClerk’s customer service was so amazing during that time.
What was your experience when switching and getting started with MoonClerk?
Once I got into it, it was GREAT. I felt like I had more of a “home base” with MoonClerk, where I can see everything that is happening in my dashboard.
What do you like about MoonClerk?
The thing that I really fell in love with was MoonClerk’s impeccable customer service. Every time I’ve contacted them with a question or concern, they answer me back so quickly and always have the answer. I really trust this service.
How has MoonClerk improved or helped your business?
I believe MoonClerk has made my clients’ payment experience much easier. It has helped me as well, as I no longer need to chase clients down for payments. My recurring plans through MoonClerk take care of that and also communicate to the client for me if something is amiss.
Any advice for others who are in similar industries?
Find systems that work for you and that help you to automate your business and stick with them. The more automation you can add into your business, the more time and space you have for creativity and growth. MoonClerk has been such a beneficial way for me to automate my payments with clients.
