Garrett Mehrguth talks with us about his consulting company, Directive Consulting, and how he uses MoonClerk to provide better service to his client base.
Can you tell us a little about what your company does?
At Directive Consulting we work within the entire life cycle of a product or service. In short, we consult, develop and market everything from companies looking to develop mobile applications to auto mechanics looking to grow their online presence through digital marketing and SEO.

What are your responsibilities at Directive Consulting?
As the President and Founder of Directive Consulting, my primary role is company development. I work constantly on how to systemize operations, increase productivity, and as a result, increase margins. With a small team, this is essential.
How did you get started?
It started with me being a 1099 for a few medium size businesses. I had decent success helping them and noticed that with my age, digital marketing is an area that I could excel in.
What have been some key factors in growing your business?
Our mission statement is our driving factor for success:
Learn. Engage. Create.
Learn: The more we learn about marketing and development, the greater results we can deliver.
Engage: The more often we engage with and practice what we are learning, the better the results.
Create: The more often that we are creating new products and services, the greater results our company will see and the greater experience we will have in developing products and services for our clients.
What do you use MoonClerk for?
We use MoonClerk to receive recurring payments from our clients. We use MoonClerk’s payments form to receive these payments on our website.
What made you decide to use MoonClerk?
We never used another payment system; however, we did extensive research and determined that MoonClerk is the best system for our needs with the lowest rates and greatest customer service.
It was simple. We wanted a system that had a great user interface, was simple, affordable, and could take recurring payments.
What was your experience when switching and getting started with MoonClerk?
It was an easy process and starting up early was quite simple.
What do you like about MoonClerk?
What’s not to like?!
How has MoonClerk improved or helped your business?
We no longer have to try and collect monthly payments on the 15th of the month and have our clients mail us checks or even go and pick them up. Now, with MoonClerk, we’re able to receive payments easily and our clients can pay with their credit cards, which they love!
Any advice for others who are in similar industries?
The only advice I have for others in digital consulting, marketing, and developing is to learn, engage, and create constantly.
