\nCan you tell us a little about Relentless Runners?
\nRelentless Runners is an online run coaching team where we offer high quality, well rounded, virtual coaching with 10 run coaches, plus a registered dietician, a clinical psychologist, and a strength and conditioning coach. Our mission is to hit each pillar of performance to provide our athletes with everything they need to chase down their goals in a smart, strategic, and fun way.
\nWhat are your day-to-day responsibilities?
\nWe are the co-founders of Relentless Runners and we both do the back end business tasks along with coaching athletes 1:1. Some of the day-to-day responsibilities include email marketing, answering inquiries emails, social media creation, posting, engagement, managing the other coaches, our team’s community involvement, recording and editing our podcast, organizing and planning team call presentations, managing the books and back end billing, and much more.
\nHow did you get started?
\nWe met through Instagram and became friends virtually. We both shared a love for running and a passion for helping others in the sport they love. We talked together about going into business coaching other runners after realizing we didn’t want to do it alone. So we did! We launched Relentless Runners in 2016 and have grown it to 10+ coaches and a team of 200+ athletes. We both left their full-time jobs to run the business and coach and it continues to grow exponentially year over year.
\nWhat do you use MoonClerk for?
\nWe use MoonClerk for our athletes’ recurring monthly payments. As our team grew, we knew we wanted something automatic where we didn’t have to manually send out invoices and chase people down for payments. MoonClerk has been an amazing way to take invoicing off our plate and manage our billing automatically.
\nWhat problems did you have with your previous payment system?
\nWe used Paypal and we didn’t like needing to send out invoices and chase people down for timely payments. It was just one more thing we needed to stay on top of and it took away from being able to invest time in other areas of the business.
\nWhat made you finally decide to use MoonClerk?
\nAs the team continued to grow, we couldn’t keep on top of manual invoices so we went on the hunt for a system that could charge our athletes on a regular and automatic recurrence. We found MoonClerk and have been using it for years now!
\nWhat was your experience when getting started with MoonClerk?
\nIt was incredibly easy to follow and set up payment forms with themes and our logo. It was years ago when we set it up but we remember it being very straight forward and feeling like a weight was lifted off our shoulders once we didn’t have to send out manual invoices.
\nWhat specific feature do you like most about MoonClerk?
\nWe love that you can set the payment form to have a one-time set up fee charged on top of the recurring amount. We use this for an onboarding fee that charges our new athletes a one-time fee to get them set up on our team and then after that it automatically goes back to the set recurring amount.
\nWe also really love that you can duplicate payment forms because we separate payments by coach so it helps us distinguish the difference. We also love that we can add our logo to the payment page so it’s personalized to us. Other features we love are the ability to have coupon codes applied for when we run different sales for coaching services. And lastly, we love that we get email notifications for payments made and payments missed so we can keep on top of any failed payments due to expired cards, etc.
\nHow has MoonClerk improved your business?
\nWe feel that MoonClerk has helped our business grow by giving our clients peace of mind with their security of their payment information. Not only has MoonClerk given us the time back from sending out manual invoices, it has also given our clients back their time from having to actually make the payments monthly and manually. Now they put their payment information in one time and that’s it. They don’t have to think about it anymore than we have to think about it.
\nWould you recommend MoonClerk to others?
\nAbsolutely. If you have multiple clients you collect payments from regularly and no longer want to remember to send out invoices and then keep track of ones that have actually paid or not paid, MoonClerk is an amazing option.

\nHow did you get started?
\nIt all started a few months after I made the leap into launching my own business. I hired my first VA as a personal assistant, and the impact was immediate. I finally had space to focus, rest, and stop feeling like I had to do everything alone.
\nThe experience was so powerful that we initially started building a course to help others understand what hiring a VA could look like, how it worked, what to expect, and why it mattered. Can you tell us a little about ELA?
\nEntrepreneur Legal Advisors (ELA) is a law firm that provides general counsel services to small businesses and entrepreneurs. We’re different than traditional law firms and work on a subscription business model that lets us proactively limit our clients’ potential risks and develop long term strategic relationships as opposed to one-off, transactional reactive services provided by traditional law firms.
\nWhat are your day-to-day responsibilities?
\nClient management, business development and internal team management.
\nHow did your organization get started?
\nI was working at a firm doing general practice work, and one client was a business, they were telling me that they had been having a bunch of issues involving independent contractors and employees and they’d had a hard time getting answers from other lawyers, couldn’t figure out how much dealing with these issues would cost them and were simply ignored in a lot of circumstances.
\nI was thinking, “There has to be a better way for small businesses to get legal services.” Most small businesses either ignore legal completely (exposing themselves to increased risk they could avoid), use an online platform that doesn’t provide individualized advice, or are faced with options that are too expensive, inaccessible and intimidating, so they don’t do anything.
\nThe challenge in starting ELA was to find a cost effective, affordable, model where business owners could access legal and advisory services as an option to either online services that don’t know their business, then give advice following a one size fits all approach, or to a high-priced attorney, which isn’t realistic for small business. Where was the opportunity in that gap that will really benefit small businesses?
\nThe answer was subscription based legal services focused on being an advisor first and foremost (this is the true advantage of legal services to small businesses). I offered transparency, affordable pricing, and an efficient way for entrepreneurs and small businesses to proactively address potential risks.
\nWhat have been some key factors in growing your business?
\nThe subscription model was a key factor in our growth. It allows for recurring revenue which is a completely different model than the hourly rate, which is the standard in the legal field. We don’t have to start from scratch every single month and worry about billable hours. We can focus on protecting our clients and building long term relationships.
\nWhat do you use MoonClerk for?
\nWe use MoonClerk for as much of our billing as possible. It allows us to set up automatic monthly payments from clients on our subscription model. MoonClerk efficient, mostly hands-off once a client is onboarded and cuts countless admin hours on our end.
\nWhat problems did you have with your previous payment system?
\nWe’ve used several other payment systems over the years, but have focused on trying to get as many people as possible moved over to MoonClerk. The other systems are overly complicated (at least for us) and time consuming to set up. Other issues we’ve run into have been on the user end - clients having trouble getting set up with what we send them. None of those problems exist with MoonClerk.
\nThose problems slow down everything. They takes additional time on our end, slows down receivables, and frustrates everyone involved.
\nWhat made you finally decide to use MoonClerk?
\nEase of use for the monthly recurring payment options. Simple as that. I didn’t see another option that was as easy to get started with and to implement with clients.
\nWhat was your experience when getting started with MoonClerk?
\nIt has all gone well form the start. MoonClerk’s set up process was self-explanatory and while there is a lot of functionality in the system, it’s not overly complicated for non-tech savvy users. That was particularly important on our end when trying to find the easiest solution possible to get clients set up on a recurring billing platform, both for us and them.
\nWhat specific features do you like most about MoonClerk?
\nWe love the automatic monthly recurring billing. And we have options for any kind of billing we are doing, not just recurring. The simplicity of MoonClerk is one of its strengths, especially when there seems to be an endless race to cram as many features as possible into products these days.
\nHow has MoonClerk improved or helped your business?
\nMoonClerk essentially takes the billing and chasing clients for money work off our plate. Most law firms spend considerable time billing and collecting money that’s owed to them and they operate on some system where invoices are due within 30 days. As you grow that becomes an administrative burden, that continues to get worse. It eats up significant time at a lot of firms. Not having to deal with any of that is invaluable.

How did you get started?
Persius was co-founded by myself (Shervine Dolatshahi) and Arash Nazerpour in 2012. From the beginning, our vision was to close the gap between great design and real business results. We set out to build an agency that goes beyond surface-level aesthetics to help brands define who they are, how they show up, and why people should care. That long-term mindset has shaped the way we work, the relationships we build, and the results we deliver. It has positioned Persius as a trusted creative partner across a wide range of industries.
