Stripe International Payments Now Available With MoonClerk

stripe international payments

We’re pleased to announce that MoonClerk now works in any countries or currencies that Stripe international payments work. While Stripe has recently opened up to certain countries and currencies outside of the US, up until now, MoonClerk only supported payments made in US Dollars.

As of the writing of this post, Stripe (and MoonClerk) are available in the US, Canada, UK, and Ireland and are in beta in Australia, Belgium, France, Germany, and the Netherlands. However, Stripe is regularly adding new countries and currencies. You can keep track of an updated list of where Stripe is available at https://stripe.com/global.

Getting Started

If you are located in a country where Stripe international payments are currently available, as you’re signing up for MoonClerk, you’ll be asked for your country and the currency that you’d like to accept payments in. When you go through the MoonClerk activation process and set up your Stripe account in that currency, you’re good to go. MoonClerk supports one currency per account so if you’d like to accept payments in two currencies, you’ll need to create two separate MoonClerk accounts.

If you’re located in a country where Stripe international payments are currently in beta, you can contact Stripe to get on their beta list. Once you’re approved for an account through Stripe’s beta program, send us an email at [email protected] and we’ll help get you set up on MoonClerk.

If you already have a MoonClerk account and want to switch currencies, please shoot us an email so we can help you with that as well.
