Announcing MoonClerk’s Developer Tools

Since we launched MoonClerk almost two years ago, our system has primarily been used by non-developers. During this time, developers have consistently requested ways they could better utilize MoonClerk. We’re happy to announce that we’ve just released a new set of tools for developers to use MoonClerk:

API

We’ve launched a read-only REST-style API.

Programmatic Integration With Your Site

We’ve added the ability for you to integrate MoonClerk with your site. You can programmatically track your payers through the checkout process by adding parameters to the MoonClerk payment form URL. This can allow SaaS applications to use MoonClerk to power their payments. It can also allow our customers who want to build out their own paywalled subscription membership site to use MoonClerk to power their payments.

Stripe Webhook Integration

We’ve also developed a tight integration with Stripe’s webhooks. If you add parameters to the MoonClerk payment form URL, we pass those parameters through to Stripe as metadata. You can retrieve that metadata through Stripe’s webhooks.
