Can you tell us a little about Expand Your Capacity?

At Expand Your Capacity, we help entrepreneurs and small business owners find and work with exceptional virtual assistants from around the world -- highly skilled professionals who bring care, curiosity, and initiative to everything they do. But our work doesn’t stop at making a match. We provide ongoing training, coaching, and weekly check-ins to support both the client and the VA so the relationship can thrive long-term.

Our goal is to create breathing room and sustainable systems so they can focus on the work only they can do. Because we believe in mutual growth, we are intentional about pairing clients with VAs who align not just in skills, but also in working style, communication preferences, and values.

What are your day-to-day responsibilities?

As the Founder & CEO of EYC, I set the vision, strategy, and culture for our agency. I lead the development of new programs and offerings, design scalable structures, and cultivate the conditions for our global team to thrive.

I’m in daily communication with our VAs to ensure they have the resources they need, while overseeing client onboarding and VA matching to ensure every partnership is set up for long-term success.

How did you get started?

It all started a few months after I made the leap into launching my own business. I hired my first VA as a personal assistant, and the impact was immediate. I finally had space to focus, rest, and stop feeling like I had to do everything alone.

The experience was so powerful that we initially started building a course to help others understand what hiring a VA could look like, how it worked, what to expect, and why it mattered. But we quickly realized most people didn’t want just information, they wanted hands-on support. That’s when we shifted from teaching people how to hire a VA to actually doing the hiring and matching for them, with the very first VA I brought on now serving as our agency’s Chief of Staff.  Since then, we’ve built a proven playbook for high-touch matching, onboarding, and ongoing support — one that creates sustainable, human-centered partnerships where both clients and VAs can thrive.

 What have been some key factors in growing your business?

Our growth comes down to two things: our incredible team and our clear, experience-backed processes.Our VAs are at the heart of everything we do, and we make sure they’re set up for success with clear step-by-step guides, regular opportunities to grow their skills, and the support they need to help clients delegate with ease.

Over time, we’ve refined a process that’s clear, intentional, and deeply human. The work we do never feels like a transaction, but rather a shared commitment to each other’s growth. Many of our new clients have come through word of mouth from leaders who’ve had a meaningful experience with us and shared it with their networks. That trust has been a powerful driver of our growth — and now, we’re excited to expand our reach to serve more social entrepreneurs who see what’s possible when the right support is in place.
